Cleantech is our future –
Steinhardt GmbH joins the internationally operating ABIONIK Group
For the last ten years, we have been consolidating Steinhardt’s position on the field of national and international competition. Existing products have undergone fine-tuning and new product ranges for flood protection and process water technology have been established. Against the recognition that small companies are no match for global players, we have built up partnerships with competent firms whose innovative products will broaden future business opportunities and ensure growth.
In September 2019, Mr. Jörg Steinhardt brought his shares in the Steinhardt GmbH into the Holding Abionik Group GmbH, Friedrichstr. 95, 10117 Berlin, thus creating a business group with a sales volume of approx. € 32 million and an extensive product portfolio in the cleantech sector that specialises in water and air treatment:
Martin Systems AG, Werkringstr. 10, 96515 Sonneberg, www.martin-membrane.de
LIKUSTA Umwelttechnik GmbH, Gottlieb-Daimler-Str. 11, 35423 Lich, www.likusta.com
Steinhardt GmbH, Röderweg 6 – 10, 65232 Taunusstein, www.steinhardt.de
All three firms have been operating successfully on the international market for many years and all three firms run successful joint ventures — Liku-Tech in India and Mating Mo and GuHong in China.
Membership in the Abionik Group brings with it not just a more solid market position but also delivers synergetic benefits, for example in the areas of IT, procurement and sales. Our portfolio now extends from waste water treatment and membrane technology to drinking water treatment, air treatment, flood protection and process water technology. Our first joint project is in Berlin, Schönerlinde, with Steinhardt responsible for storm water treatment and LIKUSTA for emission handling.
On 1st October, in keeping with the dynamic developments, Mr. Ingo Mayer was appointed the company’s new Managing Director. Mr. Jörg Steinhardt remains in the firm with responsibility for product development, marketing and consultancy activities.
The extension of our production capacity to accommodate the Steinhardt flood protection and process water technology product lines and the 20% increase in staffing during the past two years reflect our confidence in the future. The generation change, now complete, has created a young and dynamic Steinhardt team that remains at your disposal.
Now, as members of the Abionik Group, we look forward to continuing our successful co-operation.
