In the last few years, even less\u00ader storm events have revealed the water\u00adcourse to be a high-water threat to the town whose name it shares.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blog-inner\">\n<div class=\"blog-content\">\n<p>The Sulzberg\u00ader Bach stream will be dammed upstream for the FCR in the area of two vil\u00adlages, Ried and Ober\u00admin\u00adden\u00addorf, so that a flood reten\u00adtion zone is cre\u00adat\u00aded in the terrain.<\/p>\n<p>The project con\u00adtrac\u00adtor is the Free State of Bavaria, rep\u00adre\u00adsent\u00aded by the Water Man\u00adage\u00adment Author\u00adi\u00adty of Kempten.<\/p>\n<p>In order to guar\u00adan\u00adtee reli\u00adable func\u00adtion\u00ading of the FCR Stein\u00adhardt GmbH engi\u00adneered a <strong>self-pow\u00adered flow reg\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtor&nbsp;<\/strong>that lim\u00adits the con\u00adstant out\u00adflow from the reser\u00advoir to 2.4 m\u00b3\/s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/steinhardt.de\/en\/products-and-services\/hydromaxx-discharge-flow-control\/\"><strong>Hydro\u00adMaxx<\/strong><\/a>, the active flow con\u00adtrol, is mount\u00aded upstream and takes the form of a mov\u00adable plate con\u00adtrolled by a cus\u00adtom-designed, patent\u00aded reg\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtor mech\u00ada\u00adnism that uses a ver\u00adti\u00adcal\u00adly mov\u00ading float to keep the flow con\u00adstant irre\u00adspec\u00adtive of water&nbsp;level.<\/p>\n<p>The bespoke dis\u00adcharge con\u00adtrol was devel\u00adoped by Stein\u00adhardt engi\u00adneers specif\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly for the project and was man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtured entire\u00adly of stain\u00adless steel at our pro\u00adduc\u00adtion site in Taunusstein,
